Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for what you can and cannot do on ClapCall. It applies to everyone — Experts and Followers. By using ClapCall, you agree to follow these rules.

1. What ClapCall Is For

ClapCall is a professional expert marketplace. It is designed for:

  • Experts sharing original content — posts, images, videos, audio — with their audience.
  • Building a free follower community around your expertise.
  • Offering real-time paid voice and video calls to Followers on a per-minute basis.
  • Receiving gifts from Followers in any custom amount.
  • Communicating with Followers through free, encrypted private messaging.

2. Zero Tolerance — No Exceptions

The following result in immediate permanent account termination, mandatory law enforcement referral, and no right of appeal:

Content involving minors

Any content — in any format, including illustrations or AI-generated images — that depicts, describes, simulates, or facilitates the abuse, exploitation, sexualisation, or endangerment of anyone under 18.

Non-consensual content

Any content depicting a real, identifiable person in an intimate or harmful context without their documented consent. This includes covertly recorded content.

Trafficking and exploitation

Any content that advertises, facilitates, recruits for, or promotes human trafficking, forced labour, or any form of exploitation or coercion.

Terrorism and violent extremism

Any content that promotes, glorifies, incites, or recruits for terrorism, mass violence, or violent extremist groups.

3. Prohibited Content

Adult and sexual content

ClapCall does not permit nudity, sexually explicit material, or adult content of any kind. Accounts found posting or distributing such content will be terminated immediately.

Illegal services

Content that advertises, solicits, or arranges any illegal service or activity, including escort or in-person services.

Illegal drugs

Content that promotes, sells, or provides instructions for the manufacture or purchase of illegal drugs or controlled substances.

Political campaigning

Content whose primary purpose is to influence elections, promote or oppose political candidates, or disseminate political propaganda.

Hate speech

Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites violence or discrimination against any person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Harassment and threats

Harassment, bullying, threats of violence, stalking, or doxxing directed at any person — through posts, messages, or calls.

Impersonation and fraud

Creating a profile falsely representing you as another person or falsely claiming credentials or expertise you do not hold.

Spam and bots

Sending unsolicited bulk messages. Using automated scripts or bots to interact with the platform or generate fake engagement.

Malware and unauthorised access

Uploading malware or malicious code. Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account or system. Conducting phishing attacks targeting ClapCall users.

Copyright and IP infringement

Uploading content that infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party. See our DMCA Policy at https://www.clapcall.com/dmca.

Privacy violations

Sharing personal information about another person without their consent. Sharing the content of private messages without the other party's consent.

Self-harm promotion

Content that promotes or provides detailed instructions for self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating. Supportive or educational discussion of mental health topics is not prohibited.

Misinformation

Content that deliberately spreads false information likely to cause real-world harm.

4. Rules for All Users

Keep payments on platform

All financial transactions must go through ClapCall's credit system. You may not solicit or agree to any payment for calls or gifts outside the platform. If anyone asks you to pay outside the platform, report it to support@clapcall.com immediately.

No call recording

Recording any call on ClapCall — by either party, by any means — is strictly prohibited. Violation results in immediate account termination.

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 to use ClapCall. Do not attempt to access the platform if you are under 18.

One account per person

You may only hold one account. Do not create a new account to evade a suspension or termination.

5. Expert Rules

  • Only publish content you own or have the rights to.
  • Your profile must accurately represent your expertise and what you offer.
  • Do not mislead, harass, or manipulate Followers.
  • Do not ask or incentivise Followers to pay outside the platform.
  • Do not claim professional qualifications (medical, legal, financial) you do not hold.

6. Follower Rules

  • Content is for personal, non-commercial viewing only. Do not screenshot, screen-record, share, or redistribute Expert content without written permission.
  • Do not harass, threaten, or abuse Experts.
  • Do not reverse gift payments in bad faith. Contact support@clapcall.com before raising a dispute with your card provider.

7. Enforcement

Depending on the violation, we may remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, suspend your account, permanently terminate your account, or refer the matter to law enforcement. For most violations we apply a graduated approach. For serious or repeat violations we may skip straight to permanent termination.

Experts can appeal content removals and account actions within 30 days by emailing support@clapcall.com.

9. Updates

We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. The latest version is always at https://www.clapcall.com/acceptable-use.
